Modified mPTFE (TFM)

Although the PTFE material itself has many excellent properties, chemically modified mPTFE further improves the properties of PTFE:

  • Reduced permeability

  • Reduced deformation under load

  • Good flexural fatigue resistance

  • Smooth surface

  • Higher transparency

  • Weldability

  • Higher dielectric strength

  • Reduced stretch void index
