The encapsulated fluoroplastic O-ring is made of FEP/PFA outer ring with inner core of FKM or Silicone. Similar to PTFE O-rings, encapsulated O-rings can be used in chemical environments where ordinary rubber O-rings cannot. Elasticity is provided by a rubber inner core, while chemical resistance is provided by a seamless FEP/PFA sleeve. It has the low compression permanent deformation properties of rubber O-rings, and also has the characteristics of heat resistance, cold resistance, oil resistance, wear resistance and chemical corrosion resistance of fluoropolymers. It can be widely used in various dynamic and static sealing occasions, and can replace traditional rubber O-rings.
